About Me

Lindé: Currently exhibiting in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa; Style: "My work is textural. I ‘build’ paint in layers and mix and apply colours directly onto the canvas, creating an ocean of rich brush strokes and vibrant images.” Medium: “My first choice is working with oils." Themes: “As a child my parents introduced us to cities in Europe. Salzburg is one of my favourites and my recent portfolio of Salzburg scenes has been well received by the public.” Influence: “I find greater inspiration by current contemporary artists, such as William Kentrigde and a new favourite – Lionel Smit.” Philosophy: “My ‘believe’ is based on the fact that we were sculptured by our Creator. Creativity is inherited by us all. I choose to express in such a way to glorify my Creator and bring beauty to a world that is in great need of it.”
